haiku of Abu Bakr al Baghdadi

rivers of spilled blood
water the seeds of new hope
for the caliphate

its foundation laid
on our skulls and broken bones
patiently waiting

dreaming of this day
through all kinds of bitterness
how could we delay

forcibly taken
in defiance of many
conquered and compelled

thirsty in battle
soldiers embracing hardships
drink in victory

breasts of believers
healed by faith in the new state
built on firm structure

hearts of infidels
once proud of their invasion
now filled with terror

haiku of Zabihullah Mujahid

kabul martyrdom
tens of foreign invaders
handed their justice

the yankees demand
we lay down arms and talk of
a better future

they turn blind eyes from
the resultant savagery
of occupation

withdraw all forces
leave to afghans our own wills
and aspirations

adamant menace
begets more deadly attacks
we will not back down

until we are free
our responsibility
is only jihad
